Your Korean Guide/Driver

This is your main point of contact. On our small-group tours (4-12 people), your guide is also often your driver. They provide knowledgeable commentary in Korean, manage the schedule, ensure safety, and share hidden local spots.

Customary Tip: The standard is a per-person, per-day amount. For our multi-day tours, this is typically $20 per person, per day.

NOTE_ON_TOTALS: The source material for our 2-night, 3-day tour lists a total of $235 for all mandatory entrance fees and the guide tip combined. This total is provided for your convenience. Do not add the individual line items yourself, as the total has already been calculated for you.

Restaurant Wait Staff

During meals that are not included in the tour package (most lunches and dinners), you will tip your server at the restaurant. This is a universal practice across the US.

Customary Tip: 15-20% of your pre-tax bill is standard for good service. You can leave this in cash on the table or add it when you pay by card.

Specialized Local Guides

At certain locations, we work with expert local guides who provide access and unique knowledge you can't get otherwise. A prime example is at Antelope Canyon, where access is controlled by the Navajo Nation and requires a native guide.

Your main guide tip covers the overall transportation service. In our tours, your guide is almost always your driver for the entire journey, so one tip covers both roles.

It does not include the guide tip, entrance fees, or most meals.
